30 Special Moments
Our style is relaxed and friendly and we believe that each wedding has memories that simply must be captured for posterity. For each of these weddings we have put together a slideshow montage of just 30 of our favourite “moments” showing the joy and happiness of the day.
There are only 30 pictures in each slideshow but we think they give a flavour of our style.
Our photographs will also capture those precious details unique to you and your venue alongside the laughter, joy and feeling of love from attending family & friends. Dee, my partner and best friend acts as my second photographer and her approach mirrors that of mine.
For us it is always about capturing that ‘Moment in Time’ as it is so true that a picture will always speak a thousand words and in a beautiful and timeless way.
We invest a lot of time with our clients to ensure that “If it is important to you then it is equally as important for us” if you feel that our style and approach is perfect for you, please do get in touch via our Contact Us link.
Hannah & James – 30 Special Moments at Nymans Gardens
We were privileged to be asked to photograph the wedding of Hannah and James at Nymans Gardens in West Sussex. Hannah’s most important instruction was “I want you to capture the moment James first see’s me at the altar”, so no pressure then.
The ceremony was in the lovely St Mary’s Church in West Chiltington and at the allotted time I made sure that I captured that “moment” for posterity. It was a lovely occasion and this instant in time was just one of many special parts of the day.
Another plus was the fact that the wedding breakfast and reception was help in a large Tipi supplied by Beautiful World Tents, a local Sussex company. The tent complimented Nymans Gardens as we had the use of their extensive grounds to find the best locations to take photographs.
Nymans Gardens was specifically chosen by Hannah and James as they had spent many memorable moments in the park. The day was a pleasure from start to finish and I think this slideshow reflects just a few aspects of their day. It also helped that the best man was an Air Display Pilot with a plane and an airfield close by, I will leave you to enjoy the last few pictures which rounded off an amazing day.
Rachael & Pete – 30 Special Moments at East Quay, Whitstable
We were asked to photograph the wedding of Rachael & Pete at East Quay, Whitstable, Kent. Rachael most important instruction was “I want you to make me look beautiful”, although her tongue was in her cheek when she said it..
Both the ceremony and the wedding breakfast were in East Quay which is a lovely relaxed venue next to the beach. The date cosen was at the end of November this year and so that brought with it some interesting challenges for us as photographers. The main one was the light and of course there is always the risk of rain.
Fortunately, although it was quite cold the rain decided not to put in an appearance and as a special bonus, the short day gave us the opportunity to see a lovely winter sunset that we just had to use to take some stunning pictures of Rachael & Pete against the sea.
Rachael told us that what she really wanted was lots of photographs of them and her guests relaxed and enjoying themselves. We really enjoyed this wedding and I think that we fulfilled our brief on both points.
Jana & Taiwo – 30 Special Moments at Bromley
We recently photographed the wedding of Jana and Taiwo at St Andrews Church in Bromley supporting our friend Michelle Fry. The service was relaxed and friendly, making our job lot’s of fun and ensuring we caught plenty of those spontaneous expressions.
The reception was at Club Langley in Beckenham and after the photographs, continued inside with a lovely wedding breakfast and hilarious and heartfelt speeches. Sometimes it’s difficult to concentrate when you are laughing along with everyone else, but we made sure that we recorded everything and again I think that our slideshow shows a true reflection of their day.
Beckah & Matt – 30 Special Moments at Canterbury
We recently photographed the wedding of Beckah and Matt at St Mary the Virgin supporting our friend Michelle Fry. The church was a lovely old picturesque and traditional church in the village of Selling.
Beckah is also a talented photographer and so had a clear vision of how she wanted the photographs to reflect her special day,
The weather was best described as “inclement” (it poured down). However, with our trusty umbrellas and natural cover we obtained some beautiful images of Beckah before the ceremony as well as some stylish photographs after.
The reception and wedding was at The Canterbury Steiner School in Chartham which was Matt’s old school and so had a special significance for the couple and what better way to round off a lovely day.
