Hello again, today’s post is about finding new venues. We are lucky in Sussex that we have many lovely old country houses, some of which are used as wedding venues. We recently had lunch @Ghyll Manor in Rusper which is a lovely 17th Century country house with beautiful gardens and loads of character.
Not having seen the venue before we had a walk round the gardens and were blown away with how lovely it was and the potential for wedding photography. A few weeks later I was able to speak to Jenny @Ghyll Manor and she kindly allowed us to use the grounds for a styled shoot.
The purpose of this for us is to have some fun, have a practice and see whether we can find some interesting shots at a new venue. We were lucky enough to find two models who are an actual couple so with the help of @Jessica Faulkes, James Miller and our make up artist Claire we spent a few pleasant hours seeing what we could find and taking pictures of our models.
We all enjoyed it as it was a lovely warm day, as well as coming away with some nice pictures and a few idea’s from a great venue
